HAVE YOU EVER BEEN THIS TIRED?

Have you ever been so tired that you could drop? You know, fallen asleep in a chair, on the commode or tub? (Please just do not fall asleep behind the wheel of a moving car!)

These pictures of children and kittens remind us we need our rest.  This poor little guy crashed into a shoe.  I hope the former occupant used foot powder!  The sole of this shoe may not smell so well, but speaking of the virtuous soul, the Church speaks of the aroma of sanctity that rises like incense.  Such is the gift of holiness extended to us.

    

The kitten has his own little fuzzy playmate.  Can we as adults ever sleep as innocent as when we were small, hugging our teddy bears?  We have so many problems and worries, and yet our heavenly Father would have us find comfort in him.

 

We might also get sleepy on a full stomach.  Certainly this tiny critter did not get very far.  I knew a guy who used to sleep in church.  People criticized him and yet he was regular.  Asked about it, he said he came to Church to be spiritually nourished, and yet sometimes the peace of God's house was such a respite from the troubles of the world, that he would often fall asleep in the Lord.  Maybe it is good for churches to be restful and quiet places?

I just got a great new exercise tip: Exercise daily — walk with the Lord.  But this child is trying to both walk and rest with the Lord!  I have heard of people sleeping while standing up, but this is the first time I have seen it.
