He was a responsible, caring, intelligent human being. He looked after and loved his family, fought for his country and donated to many charities. His portrayal of Moses is a landmark in the history of cinema, and his other movies, like BEN-HUR, PLANET OF THE APES, THE BIG COUNTRY and TOUCH OF EVIL are all-time classics. Heston was also the inspiration for Indiana Jones in the wonderful movie SECRET OF THE INCAS. I always remember Mr. Heston in my morning and evening prayers. God rest his immortal soul.
