The person to watch is Melanne Verveer. Back in March the Senate confirmed her as the Ambassador for Global Women’s Issues. Abortion is so crucial for the Obama administration that a full-time person had to be given charge of it!
Former Chief of Staff for First Lady Hillary Clinton, she was VP for the liberal People for the American Way, the organization that helped to block Judge Bork for the Supreme Court. Under the guise of women’s issues, she will probably become the U.S. abortion czar for the world. The president is committed to the population control plan proposed in Cairo 15 years ago.
Indeed, the administration has decided to give $50 million to the U.N. Population (Control) Fund. She spoke at a luncheon for Dr. Nafis Sadik (Former UNFPA head) who sought to mandate global abortion services and to require that medical personnel be trained to do abortions, even if such should be against their conscience.
Population goals were set and abortion is seen as a way to keep numbers to the prescribed quotas or limits. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told the Planned Parenthood Federation of America “that reproductive rights and the umbrella issue of women’s rights and empowerment is going to be a key to the foreign policy of this administration.”
Sadik lamented “the distortions of religion” that deny women their human rights and the “bigots” who fall back on cultural values to deny (contraception and abortion) rights to young girls and women.
“There are six things that Y-hw-h hates, seven that he abhors: a haughty look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood…”
“You will not allow any of your children to be sacrificed to Molech…”
“A voice is heard in Ramah lamenting and weeping bitterly: It is Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted because they are no more.”
“They found themselves entrapped, and sacrificed their own sons and their daughters to demons. Innocent blood they shed, the blood of their sons and daughters; offering them to the idols of Canaan, they polluted the country with blood…[God] handed them over to the nations, and their opponents became their masters; their enemies tyrannized over them, crushing them under their rule.”

discusting…. is that a part of the american dream? ….. is that right to FORBID to give a birth? … “trained to do abortions, even if such should be against their conscience.” .. .that’s not even in the worst horrors ever filmed…. i will translate this text in to my language if you allow me….
I have a great idea…why not have those who support abortion rights have their heads, arms and legs tugged at and pulled on by a pair of giant forceps, and then have them sucked through a giant vacuum; if they survive, then they can continue to advocate for abortion rights. I’ll leave out my idea on partial birth abortions.
How is this anti-catholicism??? Quit bashing Hillary and worry about more important things! Also, quit trying to put off your views on others. That makes me sick.
John,
Sounds to me like your suggesting some kind of TORTURE for these folks. Sorry, we don’t do that in America. We prefer to take the moral high ground on that one.
To Anna Maria
You’re missing the point of John’s post. I hope I am missing the point of yours! You write, “sorry, we don’t do that in America…we prefer to take the moral high ground on that one…”
but its okay to TORTURE the innocent in the womb. I suppose you feel that is taking the moral high ground?
To “GUEST” – “worry about more important things.” The life of a human being isn’t important I guess and giving women the freedom to engage in as much sex as they want to and have as many abortions as they also want to because a child is interfering with their life is a “more important thing” Your views make me sick, sir.
Interesting how if someone murders a pregnant women our laws hold them guilty of the murder of TWO (the child in the womb also) but every day deliberate murders of the unborn take place and we turn our head in the name of “womens freedom and reproductive rights…”
Janine,
Yeah, you missed my point.
Anna Maria
I realized you were just being sarcastic right after i hit the ’send” button…
Janine raises a great point which is easliy understood and interpreted.
Her point is that if someone murders a pregnant woman, then that person is held accountable for two deaths. That’s correct.
Based on that premise, what makes abortion exempt from being classified as murder if we realize that there is a living human being in the womb? NOTHING!
Thanks Janine. Your post makes the most sense out of all of them.
That’s right Michael, even if a drunk driver kills a pregnant woman, he is held for vehicular manslaughter x 2!
I hope my post at least smoothed over my blunder with misunderstanding Anna Maria’s comment. I jumped the gun because it just set me off….
Pax
Janine
